The Columbus Cranes are one of the original eight teams that will play in the 2012 inaugural season of the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL). The Cranes are proud to be one of the newest editions to the rich sports heritage of the city of Columbus, OH.
The Cranes will host the AUDL’S inaugural game against the Indianapolis Alley Cats on April 14, 2012 at 5:45pm and will play their first season in the 5,000 seat stadium of Westerville Central High School.
“Columbus has a very strong Ultimate community at the club, collegiate and even high school levels, we are extremely excited to be a part of bringing the sport to the city at the professional level” said Michael Moses, owner of the Cranes. “It is our mission to give the city of Columbus a new, affordable and exciting one of a kind sporting experience, while maintaining the integrity of the sport that millions of players have grown to love worldwide”.

The Cranes held their scouting combine on January 6, 2012. The coaching staff is currently holding weekly training camp practices to decide the team’s makeup and final roster. A formal press release will be issued in March to announce the coaching staff, corporate partners and final team roster.
