Welcome to Columbus Ultimate’s New Site

by on Jan 24, 2012 9:03 PM

Welcome to the new home for the Columbus Ultimate Disc Association!

TopScore was designed by two Ultimate players for the Philadelphia Area Disc Alliance and is now the host for many leagues – large and small – across the nation. Check out the overview on their website at www.useTopScore.com.

One of the first things you should do is register for your account. You’ll need one to sign up for leagues. If you’re a current Winter League player, we’ve begun your account for you so we could upload the teams and report scores. If you haven’t received it already, an email will be on the way to you soon with a link to claim your account.

We’re still exploring all the great features that TopScore offers. Let us know what content you would like to see by posting on the forum, posting on our Facebook page or emailing .

USA Ultimate Coaching Clinic Feb. 4th

by on Jan 24, 2012 8:57 PM

Our high school league's success is dependent on the many CUDA members who volunteer their time and talent to coach teams. To help develop our coaches, there is going to be a Level 1 USA Ultimate Coaching Clinic on February 4th. This clinic is a great opportunity for anyone interested in coaching ultimate at any level.

Players of all experience levels can be successful high school ultimate coaches and the clinic is not required to volunteer with us.  We are always looking for more volunteers to coach and help run tournaments. If you would like to get involved with youth ultimate in Columbus in any way, please contact .

If you are interested in finding out more about coaching clinics in general: http://www.usaultimate.org/resources/coaching/cdp/level_i_coach_certification.aspx

CUDA is now hiring writers for web content. We pay nothing. We probably won’t even thank you or credit you for your work. But if you have an Ultimate-related article or story that you would like to see on this site, send it to . (And no, no one has claimed the unauthorized biography of Jamie Lynch.)
